My Approach & Process

The journey towards healing begins with two essential elements - safety and connection. Whether you find yourself caught in repeating patterns, feeling paralysed by anxiety, or longing for a deeper meaning, my priority is to provide a calm, non-judgmental space where you feel truly supported and understood. My practice is for those ready to explore the deeper layers of pain and those are not the places easy to go to, but with the right support they can become gateways to healing, resilience, and deeper connection.

I provide more than just a listening ear. I am an active guide in your process. Together, we will bring light to the patterns hiding in your blind-spots. I ask questions that are thoughtfully challenging - not to intimidate, but to clarify and create new perspectives.

Drawing on insights from various therapeutic models (e.g., Psychodynamic, Relational, Gestalt, CBT, Humanistic, Phenomenological/Existential,

Transpersonal, Interpersonal, Person-Centred, Transactional Analysis) I will help you uncover your own inner wisdom and answers.

I deeply believe that no two clients are the same, just as no two life paths are identical. Because of this, I never use a one-size-fits-all method. My approach is tailored to your unique needs, your current life circumstances, and your hopes for the future. It is an approach that is:

  • Attachment aware: We explore how your early relationships shape your connections today.
  • Trauma-informed: We honour your past experiences and work at a pace that feels safe for you nervous system.
  • Profoundly practical: We focus on patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours so that the change you experience is tangible and holds fast in your daily life, not just in the therapy room.

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic Therapy helps you uncover the underlying causes of your current feelings and behaviours by exploring how your past experiences influence your present. We will work to bring unconscious patterns, often formed early in life into your conscious awareness. This understanding allows you to recognise and change maladaptive patterns, leading to greater freedom in how you live your life.

Existential / Phenomenological

Existential Phenomenological Therapy is a philosophical approach to therapy that helps you explore your subjective experience of "being in the world. "

It views you as in a constant process of "becoming," and encourages you to take responsibility for creating a meaningful life through choices aligned with your values. This approach helps you coonfront fundamental human anxieties - such as uncertainty and impermanence and understand how these universal themes shape your daily lived experience.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

Cognitive behavioural therapy, or CBT, focuses on your current problems and helps you find practical ways to manage them. It explores the connection between your thoughts, feelings and actions.

By breaking each problem down to its cognitive, behavioural and emotional components, it identifies where negative or unhelpful patterns lie, which in turn, helps you change these patterns. CBT is problem oriented and works to help you notice and change your negative automatic thought patterns so you can feel better.

Transpersonal Therapy

Transpersonal Psychotherapy explores the spiritual and transcendent dimensions of the human experience, integrating them with the foundational principles of psychotherapy. This holistic approach is based on the idea that we are more than just our mind and body: we are composed of intangible factors, and a healthy spirit is essential for healing. It, therefore, addresses the full spectrum of human needs - mental, psysical, social, emotional, creative and intellectual.

This approach helps you explore states of consciousness, spiritual experiences, and your deepest potential. It provides a framework for understanding profound life events, existential crises, and a search for wholeness. We may draw upon various spiritual traditions and rituals to support this process. The ultimate goal is to foster deep personal growth by nurturing all aspects of your being helping you move beyond immediate concerns to connect with a broader sense of meaning, purpose, and connection.

We start with an initial 50-minute consultation to clarify what's brought you here, what you want to change, and whether we are a good fit. The first four to six sessions lay foundations - mapping patters, stabilising the nervous system, and setting priorities. From there, we deepen: for individuals, this might mean updating old survival strategies or practising new ways of relating; for couples, this often means building a shared understanding of your negative cycle - the pattern of conflict you get stuck in. We then focus on learning a new, more vulnerable way to communicate, repairing past injuries, and re-introducing intimacy - emotional and physical - at a pace that feels safe for both.

Our work together is always confidential and discreet. I offer sessions in person from my practice in Central London, as well as securely online.

Taking the first step can feel daunting, but it is the most important one. If you feel ready to explore this further, I invite you to book your initial 50-minute consultation. Get in touch and we can discuss what's brought you here and see if we are a good fit to work together.

About Me

My own therapy was life-changing - not because I simply felt better, but because I emerged different. Experiences of loss and identity shifts taught me that the moments that break us can also help us grow.

This is why I became a psychotherapist: because I know that navigating the darker chapters of life with the gentle and professional support of another human being is not only healing but also profoundly transformative.

My path to this work was not linear. Before training as a therapist, I worked in finance, which gave me first-hand insight into the pressures of high-performance workplaces - and the quiet toll that constant striving can take. This allows me to deeply understand clients dealing with burnout, perfectionism, and high-stakes careers.

Having lived through relationship upheavals and major life transitions, I understand how connection, loss, and change can shape who we are and how we relate. My experience of motherhood has also deepened my understanding of identity and the emotional complexity of caring for others while continuing to grow myself.

Coming from a multicultural background and having lived in several countries, I also understand the complexities of belonging, adaptation, and identity that come with crossing cultures, no matter how exciting that may seem on the surface.

I trained at Regent's University London, am a registered member of the BACP, and have spent the past five years working with individuals and couples. But beyond credentials, I bring presence, curiosity, and a deep commitment to the work we'll do together.

I am guided by integrity and depth, choosing substance over surface in all aspects of my life, and continually seeking knowledge that fosters growth, connection, and healing. I regularly engage in Continuing Professional Development and supervision to ensure I offer the highest standard of care and reflection to my clients.
